Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation.  We are always excited to work with individuals to expand the community of those striving to end sexual exploitation and harm.

Getting Started
Below are some examples of volunteer opportunities with CAASE.  If you are interested in pursuing any of them, please fill out this volunteer application and e-mail it to: kbeilstein@caase.org.

For Attorneys: Pro Bono Project
The CAASE Pro Bono Project connects private attorneys with local survivors of sexual assault and sex trafficking to ensure that every survivor has access to the quality legal counsel she (or he) wants and needs. Learn more here.

For Young Professionals: CAASE's Young Activist Council
The Young Activist Council is a group of dedicated individuals who serve as ambassadors on behalf of CAASE. They work to engage their networks and communities to champion anti-exploitation work while simultaneously planning fun events to raise funds for the organization.

Board Involvement
CAASE is governed by a dynamic and innovative Board of Directors.  The board meets four times a year and helps provide leadership to the organization as well as fiscal oversight. We are specifically looking for board members with expertise in fundraising and fiscal management.

Communication, Design and Photography
Work with our communications team to promote CAASE events, help us use social media to promote news pieces and CAASE victories, help us with editing CAASE material, and be an ambassador for CAASE on Facebook and Twitter. We are sometimes in need of graphic design and photography services as well.

Community Outreach
CAASE consistently strives to create resources and tools to help individuals and communities take action against sexual exploitation and human trafficking.  Please visit the “Toolkit” section of our website to see if you would like to be a leader in implementing one of these kits.  If one toolkit is of interest to you, we invite you to begin using it in your community. Please let us know about any successes you have or if you have questions.

We also need help promoting our curriculum for young men in high school.  If you have any contacts at high schools in the Chicago area, please contact us so we can reach out with this valuable and free resource.

Finally, you can engage in your own awareness-raising efforts through screening a film about human trafficking in your community, hosting a book club on the issue, or hosting a panel on the issue.  If you would like to spearhead one of these initiatives, please let us know. Additional information on resources you can use in your awareness-raising efforts can be found here: http://caase.org/other-resources
