CAASE is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting our annual Race for CAASE on Sunday, July 23rd 2017 as part of the Big Ten Network's Big 10K event. Located in beautiful Grant Park, the race will have an option for every runner: a 10K, a 5K, and a kids' 5K.
Every year, our Race for CAASE helps fund our prevention education programs. This year, we're excited to share that we've launched a new program that focuses on college campuses.
The Students Working to End Exploitation and Trafficking (SWEET) program is specifically designed to equip and empower men on college campuses to become leaders who fight to end exploitation in their communities.
Folks of all ages are encouraged to join us for what will be an exciting and memorable event! All of our participants can celebrate their 5K or 10K feat with the entire CAASE team after they run, and also enjoy a "Fan Fest" after the race - it will be packed with mascots, cheerleaders, food, music, beer, interactive games, exciting prizes, Big Ten player appearances and more!
*By signing up for the 5K, you commit to raising $200. For the 10K, you commit to raising $300, and for students between 14-18 years of age the pledge is $100. For children 14 and under, the pledge is $50. If you have any questions or would like more information please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
